electric water pump relay?

i dont know much about these electric water pumps, im lookin in to gettin one after i do my homework on it... what is the relay for??? thanks

i would assume that it would be for turning it on and off.. kinda acting like a remote wire on a stereo if that makes sence..

i'm guessing you saw the one on SVTP. i looked at it too and something just doesnt sound right about it
