Electric Water Pump.

How much HP are you going to gain from shaking the parisitic lose of driving a water pump off the crank? I am thinking of getting a Electric Water pump. but not sure if the cost is going to be 2 much for the hp reward. Any one know?

I just went through this myself. IMO not worth it. The most I have ever heard anyone quote is a 8 hp gain, and even that was a guess, not dyno proven.

If you really need/want the fast cooling at the track, yes its worth it.

I can find a lot of other ways to spend 300-500 on my car and get more for my money.

that is a good point. and since i don't live in a very hot climate i guess i'll hold off for a while. i guess ill have to do it when i get the stroker motor though because UD pulleys and lots of power never seem to work.
