Hi, I was gone for a little while and now I'm back. I'm having a little charging issue .
My car is a '88 Coupe with the 130 amp alternator conversion.
From threads I've read I was thinking it might be the Battery bulb I've taken out the Cluster
and it's not marked can anybody tell me which one it would be?. Also This Red wire is off the Harness
I don't know if it came off when I took the ckuster of or not, It is Hot When the ignition is on.

Thanks, Larry

Instrument cluster wiring diagram:

http://www.stangnet.com/tech/cluster87-93.pdf

On a Fox Mustang the warning lights are between the speedo and tach. For the 1987-1989 cars there are four lights and the location of battery light is at the bottom. So at the top is the High Beam and from there going down its Belts, Brake, Amp (battery). Best picture I could find:

I will say that it looks to me like someone put an LED bulb in the bottom one (has a resistor) and you cannot do that on the battery bulb.

Man Thanks so much for the Response. Yes I went down and got some Incandescent bulbs.
Thanks for the Diagram Chart.
When you look on the back of my gauges that capacitor is supposed to be there???

If you mean resistor that is soldered across the two spots on the printed circuit board then yes. That is supposed to be enough of a current draw that the alternator will continue to charge if the bulb goes out. You would think that with the incorrect bulb in the battery hole that things would still work right but I have seen multiple people say that it will not and all they do it pop an incandescent bulb back in and things go back to normal.
