Electrical electrical smell

video wont upload...the whole dipstick moves up and down....I'm not even taking the stick out of the tube...whole unite moves up and down...I think if I pull up, even without force it'll completely come out/off

You don't have it attached to a header bolt? Look down the tube to the block see if it's just sliding up and down in the hole or broken off at the block.

ok a shot in the dark....I just drove the car....faintly smelled the electrical smell...sniffed around the engine right away and only smelled it from this area...or could it be cause I've been extremely lazy about buying dryer sheets on a normal basis the last month and a half, which could explain the smell, or the ozone smell?

The heater/AC fan or the resistor pack that controls the fan speed is the most likely culprit.
