Well I was orginally going to s/charge my 302 but my plans have changed once agian due to the fact that I have alot of extra cash I'm thinking of goin with this 351 http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=9280 I'm going to go with a carb and I dont care about gas milage and all that I'm just wondering can this be relaible??? my cars strickly for summer but its daily drivin in summer... also will my headers from my 302 work with this?? And I'm thinking of going with this transmission http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stor...goryId=17691&parentCategoryId=10561&langId=-1 Extra HD........ Does anybody have any better suggestions??? I have about 10,000$$ U.S for the combo

Headers from the 302 won't work, they won't reach the h-pipe. Thats a lot of money for a motor IMO, you could do an equally powerful 347 for cheaper. Also, the trans link doesn't work.

cool thanx alot the transmission is a TREMEC 600 EXTRA HD 5-SPEED if the link doesnt work

If your going for sheer power and the swap doesn't bother you a windsor is the way to go. A windsor will always make more power in the end. A 302 based stroker will make great power and is much easier to swap. It will never make the hp or brute torque that the windsor will though.

Well, if I was rich, I would install a 4R70W auto with the BEcontrols TCS mod.

lol what is all that stuff??? and I'm not rich I just get insurance money every year but anyways does anyone else know any good places to find some crate motors?

4R70W = automatice transmission with wide ratio gear set. Preferebly one from a 200-2002 3.8L Stang

TCS Mod = www.becontrols.com - stand alone shift computer for the trans.
