Engine Bay and Undercarriage wash?

Wow can't believe no one has mentioned a pressure washer....Great for cleaning damn near anything IMHO I've used them on engines and bays, seats, carpets, etc.
That was also my first thought. With electronics and the wring, maybe there is not enough oil and grease buildup to risk blowing water into places it should not be,

The electrical connections in an engine comp are supposed to be water tight. I've pressure washed many engines in the past and the only ones that didn't afterwards start got water under the dist cap.
 
I agree that a powerwasher is an option, which I do plan to use since there is a lot of grime everywhere. I've never had to use one on my cars since they've never been in this condition.
