Engine bay dimensions for suspension alignment

The car i purchased has had an accident on the driver's side front corner. The hood and fender's seem to line up fairly well, but I'd like to know if there are some dimensions you could all help me with.
I have a 66 with a 289 4barrel.
I'm looking mainly at the distance between shock towers, distance from front to back of engine bay, and also diagonals of the bay.
Please state how you're measuring, and include pictures if possible!

I have a 65. I'll see if I can't get some of those measurements for you.

I took some measurements from my 65 for you to compare to your 66. Please keep in mind that my car although it is in very nice driver condition, it is not perfect.

Between the shock towers at the inner edge of the shock mouning bracket i measured approximately 30 inches.

At the lower inside of the frame at the sway bar mounting location I got approximately 27 3/4 inches.

At the center of the upper firewall just below the lip on the cowel panel to the front edge of the radiator support I got just under 40 1/4 inches.

Along the top edge of the radiator support between the inner fenders I got just under 41 1/2 inches.

Each side from under the cowel lip at the top of the firewall to the front edge of the radiator support I got 40 inches.

Diagonal measurements from the upper firewall under the cowel lip I got 56 inches from the passenger side rear to the driver side front, and almost 57 from driver side rear to passenger side front.

I think the reason that the diagonal measurements differ slightly is that the passenger side inner fender by the battery is different than the driver side.

I repaired my cowl vents and replaced a section of the firewall and now my driver side fender will not line up to the mounting holes along the engine bay. These are replacement NOS fenders and everything else lines up fine.
Can someone with a 66 give me the measurements from the inside of the fenders and also from the engine bay at the hood hinge to hod hinge?
This would be a huge help.
