engine build recommendations

im lookin at doin a build in the near future, a 306 possibly a lil bigger with edelbrock performer rpm heads 2.02/1.60 with the edlebrock rpm 2 intake and a 70mm tb, im not sure what type came tho. i want a somewhat rougher idle. my goal is 400rwhp that is for the most part a daily driver. is this possible and what type of cam is best??? also anyhting else that may be needed.

if your plan on making 400rwhp n/a you better build something bigger then a lil 306ci unless u plan on running boost.. in which case thats no problem..

but 400rwhp n/a out of a 306ci.. alot of compression and a big cam.. and bigger heads then those edelbrocks..
