One thing leads to another.
I'm moving the battery to the back of the car. I'm looking at the engine bay and start thinkin' that this needs to be painted. Maybe satin black.

The engine bay is filled with all of these wires. They gotta go. I'll route them thru the fender with appropriate protection from rocks and debris.

Question: I want to fill in all of the bolt holes in the engine compartment.
What's the best way? I can do light welding. There's got to be some simple way of filling in the bolt holes.

Thanks
PJ

Clean around the holes to make them shiny, then use a brass spoon to back up the hole and weld them up. You'll just need some extra hands for the brass!

For all the small unused holes, I just got a selection of plastic plugs & caps from the local Ace Hardware store. It's cheap, hidden, and easily reversible.

Thanks silverbluebp (and everyone else)

I've got some brass laying around that would work perfect.
