Engine Fail-Safe Mode

Hey guys, maybe someone else is experiencing this.

Periodically the Engine Fail-Safe Mode turns on. This has just been during highway cruising ~60 mph. I took it to the Ford dealer but they said there was nothing they could do if the message wasn't displayed at the time they were checking it and that there was no record of the message in the memory. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

is the car stock? any mods? need more specific information.

e does the same thing but my codes are calling out cam position sensors banks 1 and 2 and a couple of codes have no avail. info. I have no clue what is wrong with the car. Maybe defective cam position sensors???? I am not stock at all though but it seems to be a problem with these cars?

What are the mods to both cars affected? It could be a mod, so how can people help you if you don't list the mods?
