I picked up a supercharged 4.6(terminator motor) today for 3800 at an auction. How hard would it be to put in a fox body? Does anybody make adapters or am I going to have to fab my own? Any help would be useful

Swap in a 96+ K member and it'll drop right in like Ford had planned it that way. Search around in 5.0 Talk for "Project Hack Job" and you'll see what all it takes to swap in a 4.6 2V. The 4V should be the same process.

And if you do do that, you better make a progress thread

I'll make a progress thread and take plenty of pics. I am sure there are plenty of other people out there thinking of doing the swap.

got a 96 k member from the junkyard today. It is in good shape. Having it media blasted and powder coated to keep it clean. I am trying to find out which automatic will be able to bolt right up to this motor? I am thinking C4. I got the 302 out today. Didn't take pics of that cuz everybody knows how to take a 5.0 out. I am going to rebuild this 5.0 with a little more oommpphh. Thinking of trying to put it in my fiance's 4 runner

this is going to be a homebuilt special 4 runner. Just something the ball and chain can beat up on off road. Plus being that I am a licensed smog tech there is no problem registering it. I figured I would use bronco tranny and running gear. Ain't too hard to weld some motor mounts and stuff. Got plenty of steel, tubing, and plates here at home
