Sounds great, hope it runs good for ya. But I dont see some prted E7's and a ported stock intake getting you a full second in the quarter. I hope it does, but I just dont see it.

lol the 16 sec days are over! i gained nearly 3 SECONDS from 16.8 with basically a t5 swap, gears and good tires. that was a big improvment

one of the best things about working on it, is how clean it is, taking the old engine out, if you just simply touched it, you got so dirty. with the new clean engine, and after cleaning the bay, it looks ALOT better!

My thumpers and tmoss lower with a mild cam put my old vert to 13.90@101 with a 1.98 60 ft. the car weighed in at 3800+ with me in it. I think he can attain 12's if the traction is there.

i ran 13.9s@97 with a 1.9 60' with the stock engine i pulled out.

so if i gain say 50 hp from this HCI, with some good tire and if i can manage a 1.8 i think i will be happy with w/e it does!

hopefully it will be a quick street car, with the cam and the stock valves and stock intake. It should make torque down lower than rather than high up with your run of the mill HCI engine.

it's awsome to see you progress like this foxfan. I remember when you ran the 16 with the AOD and always were looking for more....Now you will have a not so average Fox and are pretty well building your own engine and did the t5 swap. I also remember people making fun of you and now what....they are like DAYUM this kid is doing good

My Vert was running 15.50's @ 85 mph before the HCI swap. The swap made it VERY Torqey down low. Your gonna like it.

Well done foxfan, I really enjoy reading your posts and watching your progress. Wish I had been doing stuff like that when I was your age - keep up the good work mate!
