Engine Numbers

My brother's friend has a engine that he's trying to find out the year and model of. It came out of a 72 Mach that originally had a 429Cobra jet, but they think this is a 351 cleveland due to the layout. The numbers don't look right to me but he says he got them off the back of the block

2F1 57(might be a T) 399

72's never came from the factory with 429's. Biggest engine option that year was the 351C.

2F1 is the date code for the block. Translates to May 1, 1972.
