The car is white i was thinking on going with one of the three colors for the engine: White Black Ford Blue? what do you guy's think? I will be topping it off with either a black or polishied trick flow intake. peace

Old Fords had the ford blue. New ones have the dark blue or black fromt eh factory?? I would not paint it white, keeping clean will be imposible. Liekwise lback makes seeing leaks harder to spot. Blue might look srange if there is no other blue in the car to pull it together..

Overall, go black.

doesn't that car have a cobra intake already on it? Why would you get the trick flow? I am a little surprised you also included white John. Man would that look strange. Blue is too much. I would just have it hot tanked and leave it the way it is. Get a new water pump, timing chain, and put a Cam in it. Maybe port the heads and have them milled for more compression

Cory i dont have the exact specs on the car still waiting to hear back from chris. But if i remember right yes it does have the cobra (sleeper) ported intake as well as 1.6 ? roller rockers and a crane cam with gt40 p ported heads with underdrives and L/T'S and alot more! I was thinking white only because when i'm done with it when i open the hood and one would see a spot free white block , and to be diffrent! But i think i'm gonna go with black tho like the rest! As far as the other stuff you mentioned it will be done as well! I just figured the trick flow would flow better? So ok then i guess i'll get the cobra one polished/chromed then. As soon as we move the work will begin! peace

Black is a good choice. Yeah it has the cobra intake on it, which is a good flowing intake 199 CFM vs 200 CFM from the GT40 intake. Let me know if you want somebody to polish it for ya. You might want to put some larger injectors in the near future as well. Are you planing on running a wet or dry kit?

Its got ford motorsports #24's already. Plus it's got the SCT chip with a pro m MAF and i beleive a polished pro. products T.B. The only thing it's really missing is a wet kit (witch is gonna be real soon) or a S.C. And i will also be getting a 255 pump as well! It's got a full tublar front syspension coil overs air bag QA1 alum rear shocks QA1 rear lowers moser 31's? Tremic king cobra clutch and the list goes on.......... like i said when i get in touch with chris i'll post the specs. Or if anyone can dig it up from the classifieds from when he had it posted? peace

I'd say paint the block black and polish all your accessories, heads (aluminum) and intake.

My vote is black.... I painted my block black when I put the motor back in. It looks clean and goes good with the black trick flow intake. Plus I plan to eventually start getting things polished so black and shiney things always go together!

Personally I would either go with a metallic color, like a dark silver, or black. Either will look clean, but with the silver any leaks will be easier to see. It'll also reflect a little more light which makes it a bit easier to see when you're working under the hood.

Either way I like the idea of a black TF intake.
