After swapping my headers to 1 5/8 shorties from the stock headers,I ended up with a broken flange (bad weld)which will be fixed tomorrow.I drove the car today a little with the leak, and the engine seems a little shakey. The engine is an '86 5.0.Stock except for the Explorer intake.Would the leak cause that?Could it be giving the O2 sensor a crazy reading, thus causing the shake?I didn't do anything except change the headers.Nothing else. The geader size 91 5/8) from stack wouldn't cause that would it?Thanks.

The only thing that comes to mind is a miss. So, double check your plug wire to plug connections and your firing order on your wires. Also, look to make sure you didn't crack on of the spark plugs during installation.

You can do a cylinder balance test while doing self diagnostics. It can help find which cylinder is missing, if one is.

Good luck.
