Ok, i have an engine stand, im getting ready to pull the engine out tomorrow. What the hell bolts do i use to attach the engine to the stand? Am i missing something or am i just stupid? The tranny bolts I took out arent near long enough, or probably strong enough. What do i use? I apologize I am a newb and this is the first engine I'll have ever taken out.

Well first off, You can use the search engine on this site..some one last week asked this same question..

BUt to answer your question..you can use any grade 8 bolt with the same size and thread pitch..
In a pinch you can you your old head bolts they fit well ..but just buy some some cheap HW store 1/2 inch id washers to take up the extra length ..
