engine swap? tranny?

will the 4.6 fit onto my tranny... 5 spd... please say yes... and if it doesn't lemme know how much more it will cost... new tranny or just some adaptor... doubt it .. thanks yall

And just to keep on topic, It’s not just a matter of an engine and tranny swap…you'd need:

Engine
T/B linkage
Engine accessories and brackets
Master Cylinder
Radiator
Fan
Computer/wiring harness
AC relocation kit
Transmission
Engine mounts
Exhaust
Complete Rear End
Suspension (springs, struts)
Brakes
Etc, etc

I'd say about 5 grand in parts and maybe half that in labor...anyone else?

do a search in the tech section...discussed over and over again...don't do it...been there done that..
