i heard some lincons and thunderbirds have the same 5.0 HO as my mustang, are there any power differenced? does the lincon or t-bird have more power, cuz i want to just pick up a engine out of a wrecked car and shove it in mine cuz mine has alot of miles and is getting tired.
No, supposedly, the Mustang had the ost powerful motor, but the Lincoln Mark VII LSC's had the same motors in them too. As for the Tbirds, I think they were also the same, but were slower on account of the heavier car.
Actually, most other fords that received the 5.0 got the non high ouput engine, and they had less horsepower. the mark 7's did get the ho engine. Look on the intake plate, if it doesn't say HO, you are wasting your time.
All High output 5.0's are identical in power regardless of what ford it came in.
