Gotta question is this plate really important, it goes between the flexplateto and the engine (where the trans is)
I bolted up the trans already and found out I forgot to put this in there . say I instal some washers with the same width equal to the plate, will it work ?
EDITED:
From what I understand it's called a dust/block plate, the other piece to the plate (which is not in the picture) can be installed with the transmission bolted into the engine.

After looking at the number of views, and no responces, I decided to put it back, jacked the trans down, unbolted the flexplate bolts, put the engine plate in, thread locked the bolts, what a pain. Transmission goes back in next week.

Sunday is more of a dead day than anything around here. But you do need it there. So I would have said put it back on. If it isn't done right, it isn't done yet.
