It's getting hot 'round here. Prolly like most places this time of year. So I took the 'vert out for a short spin. After tightening one of the header bolts (came a couple turns loose).

Anyway, with the top down and the motor purring and pulling hard, I'm in heaven. Just thought I'd share.

Ever have one of those nights?

my night has been hell, I still cant figure out how to get the god damn PS bracket out of my way to do everything I need to do, and Im falling behind on the project, I have a deadline, and its not looking good, I might be paying the mechanic a few hundred unexpected dollars to finish this one off so that I can enjoy the 5.0.

*****en buzz kill man. You try the pully puller tool to get that pulley out da way. Then you can get the bracket off no problem.

With any luck, you'll be where I am soon. And solice yourself with the fact that I have gone through multiple nights like your's to get and keep mine running.

Good luck.

In my younger days, I had nights like you did Brad. Take solice in knowing that at 8:30 pm, it's still 100* outside here (it was 109* today). :barf:

I did some tint work on the truck and other little stuff and am ready to have a stroke (I almost decided to do a spring swap on the fox - glad I didnt or I'd have an IV in my arm).

I wish I had a vert, but since they are a little heavier, Im satisfied with my coupe. And I love riding with the windows down and listening to my side pipes. I dont use the radio half the time. No mufflers FTW

Just got back a couple hours ago from doing the same thing.. top down country winding roads...and no radio. I love the sound of my new magnaflows with 3" O.R. h pipe and dumps. Heaven:SNSign:

Damn, reading this thread makes me want to go for a topless cruise right now. If I had to chose between sex and a topless cruise in the 'stang, it'd be a tough call. Might as well do both at the same time

Now thats my idea of pure heaven :nice:

Me and my wife love our vert, every evening when it gets dark out and starts to cool off we take it out for an evening cruise. It may be a heavy car but with the 3.73's and a few other mods it runs pretty damn good and keeps the local rice at bay lol :D

I agree, went to company function the other day (golf & dinner) Took the vert, and it was one of those HHH days Hot Hazy & Humid. After all was said and done about 930pm jumped in the vert dropped the top, it was a sweet ride home was still in 80's. My wife however was not impressed as I took the long way home! :D
