I considered a turbo Mike I really did. The whole reason I did it this way from the beginning was because of the gt40 intake I was using and for the intercooling. But the seriesed throttle bodies are a huge pain in the ass.
It could be done but I want to drive it not redesign it.

I would need a gm style blower to mount it up top and be able to work on it. Unless I got real creative with it. I could turn it on it's side up by the valve cover and try it that way but may get the same result.

All I know is that I would never change the driver side spark plugs..

You could use a m112 or m122 and mount it up top...but that would take redesigning everything and no intercooler...longer snout, longer shaft, a bunch of PITA customizing, and moolah.

I hope that tick isn't another rocker.

Your car is cool as hell because of that m90 that you spin to its limit. Store bought stuff is cool....but custom stuff shows the true skill and imagination of the builder.

Today I accomplished almost nothing. Took off the driver side header and valve cover, checked the rockers and noted all the locks were tight. The rockers are still set correctly with just enough play to spin the roller tip, none are broken. All that noise was the header, darn gasket blew out on every cylinder. This time they got copper rtv like I should have done in the first place.
One misstep however, the last header bolt was difficult to get to, so I tried to force it bad idea. Now I have two options, try to tap the hole in place or pull the header again clean the surfaces again tap the hole and put it back on again.

Oh and I finally bought a compression/ leak down tester driver side results (hopefully) tomorrow.

I just saw the tag so I am late to the party . I have seen rads do what yours is and not have an issue which is weird . It almost reminds me of the t stat not being fully open yet . I think you'd for the most part have a huge temp issue if you popped a HG

I agree however I'm going to go with the better safe than sorry approach.

If anyone knows someone trying to offload an m112 or larger blower at a reasonable cost let me know.

Spark plugs and compression by cylinder.
5- 138
6- 125
7- 130
8- 128

Test was done dry with engine cold. Similar to what the passenger side showed 6months ago.

Spark plugs left to right 5 to 8
no signs of coolant burn on any of them, 6 and 8 look like they are burning oil. I had a leak on the valve cover bad enough to soak the header (never put something together and go inside for a drink) the threads on #8 are wet from a seeping valve cover I fixed yesterday. I can't explain #6 except when they drilled for the rocker studs they broke into the runner maybe the oil is seeping past the threads? Either way the car never smokes even on startup.

I fixed the stripped header bolt issue with a little ingenuity, made a header bolt cut it's own threads. you may have to zoom in but u cut a cross in the tip and bent the tips inward removing one. Worked perfectly.

I just placed a bid on a m112 blower from a jaguar, comes with the hats and throttle body. This unit is a 2004 gen5 Eaton 15 years more advanced than what I'm currently using....

If I win it will get a small bay mounted intercooler and a single throttlebody.

...... 35 hours left on the blower.......
It's killing me... hopefully I will have enough room with the new radiator to use a vortech style pulley. If anyone has one lying around they want to get rid of pm me. This would be ideal I think separate the belts and simplify things. Then maybe I can find space for ac.

If I win this new blower, should I go through all the trouble to use the fmic that's on the car or should I just make a hat for it and inject water..... I want simple with one throttle body.

I was just having this same debate with myself yesterday. I'm still not sure which route I want to go . Meth sure seems easier

I was reading up yesterday about people ditching IC's and using only meth. Something about ambient air going in to IC, warm air leaving IC and entering radiator and not cooling well enough. It's something Freezy seems to be a fan of (removing intercooler and adding meth/water)

It makes sense to me. Think how much B/S plumbing that I could've eliminated, and how many other non-essential body mods would not have been needed (like the radiators in the back, the inlets, and outlets in sheet metal) if I had planned on using a snow cooler or similar water meth injection to cool the intake charge.

If I were you, and you can find a way to accommodate a large enough reservoir to carry multiple gallons of W/W fluid, I'd take the octane boost/anti-detonation/charge temp cooling benefit of water/meth over thye conventional intercooler path and hose that btch down with windshield washer fluid. Probably could just put a nitrous fogger nozzle and plumb both the fuel, and nos ports w/ a split hose (or maybe be able to stage the injection out of one nozzle)

That's a neat idea Mike, some mixed reviews about the nitrous plate systems. Nitrous express has a water injection plate I could use. Next question is so I want to inject before or after the blower..... before the blower is simple and would allow me to use the washer fluid reservoir and pump. I'm not certain I want to spend the kind of money they want for the snow kits...
If I could make a kit with an old fuel pump that would work out great and could be injected after the blower. Has anyone built one of these kits before?

If you're referring to brian Freezy we spoke about this a bit at the track last week . He really is a whiz and does it all for the love of the hobby . Have a link to sAid thread maybe ?
