Build Thread Enola- Finishing touches

Guess your car was used to sucking in all that heat from the m90. What temp is your fan set to come on ?

A stock 192° thermostat would be barely open at 160°. Plus, you know the richer the fuel...the cooler the temps. The leaner ...the hotter.

We know you know all these things. :hail:

The restrictor shouldn't have a big affect on coolant temps in the block. I've run one for years and never had an issue with over cooling....also didn't have an issue without one.

Glad the trip to work was successful... Now, jump on 95 and come up here to Maryland.o_O

Oh...that's right...there's salt all over the place up here.... I'll settle for you driving up here after you put a m122 on that thing. That should be about April :burnout:

Cardboard over 1/3 of the radiator got the car to drive at temp. Thermostat here we come.

I need A set of baffled valve covers. The ones I have seemed to like to leak oil, it's frustrating.... I will never get the oil issue under control without a different set...

I figured I'd ask before I buy. Anyone got some on a shelf or should I look to ebay?

Agreed, however i am having too much fun driving the car. Two days in a row this has been driven to work. Drives fantastic save for the very touchy low speed throttle.
Now you know why the mid and late 60's cars had a progressive throttle on multi carb cars... A little change in accelerator position makes for a big change in airflow.

Oem or aftermarket?
I still got the ones you sold (gave me, I still almost feel guilty) but you can't have them back (?) Unless they will work, we can talk about it
Well on the stock covers only the passenger side with the oil fill is baffled. I would need two stock filler covers and then remove the necks from them... or just spend fidy bucks on an eBay set....

I may take the easy road on this one.

that's right gents almost January and in Florida I can still put the top down on the way to work.:nice:

Act stay around 180 under boost, but will climb fast if below 2500rpm.

With the meth the temps don't rise but they don't drop either... I just got the larger #10 nozzle in the mail the #7 was too small I believe.

I wanted 14psi but the way this blower snout was designed a 3" pulley is about the smallest I can get without shaving it.

I did the math a 2.9" should give me 12-13psi
