Have you read up on what you need to replace to keep it alive behind a twin turbo'd 393?I found a few transmissions, closest one is 25mins away. 300 for trans from a running driving car in the salvage yard. Comes with converter and harness. I will pick it up tomorrow or friday morning. I need to order a flex plate.

Dont be like iowa nick. That bell housing fits sbf, and not 4.6 right? It has to be out of the v6 carAnd the transmission is mine.
Now to find a flexplate that will work and I need to measure the bolt distance on the converter.
yes trans is from a 3.8l v6 out of a 2002 mustang. I already have a aod tailhousing to to put on the trans as well. now i just need to figure out the converter [or use the 2800 stall stock one] and flexplate.Dont be like iowa nick. Nothing quite like having to modify brand new parts to fit.
And..idk how that’s gonna fit for you, but in the monster, I had to cut the tunnel to get enough clearance for that fat bastard.And the transmission is mine.
