Its actually just self etching primer right now now. Sprayed it down with rust dissolver rinsed it off before wire brushing it all. Gave it a good wipe down with acetone then primed it with 3 coats of etching primer. Will wait a few days to paint it black.

Anyone else have this issue. It's a new door gasket and it's kinked in the corner which lets water in. It's the driver's side rear top corner I don't understand how it got like that especially when I put it on it didn't look like that.

I would try to pull it back to that point and heat it up a little and put it back on. I'm thinking maybe it was cold when it went in and instead of forming to the corner properly it just kinked.

I will try that. It's off and on raining right now and put the cover on it. So maybe if it stops raining I'll try it today. Thank you for the suggestion
