I currently have O/R Prochamber and MagnaFlow Cat-Back, would I see any significant gains with BBK equal length shorties? Worth the trouble of the install? I know most say regular shorties aren't worth it but I assume the equal lengths perform a little better.

I like Pro3 and all I got was this crappy CT.

no
only consider shortie IF you have to worry about emmission test. Otherwise, amount of work needed to install headers in our car, Its just not worth the trouble. It'll be like most expensive 5hp you ever going to get.

Longtubes will give you alot bigger gains down low and midrange. Peak is around 20 rwhp

if you're bent on keeping your current mid pipe, I guess the shorties would be OK. I played around with the idea for a while, I'll probably do shorties if I end up doing the PI headswap bc the heads will be out of the car already. If I have extra cash then I would definitely get the LTs and a shorty mid pipe

Two reasons why I can't do the LT's. My mid pipe and my H&R drop. The way this thread is going, it looks like I saved myself some money AND work. Thanks guys .

shories make power from lowering restriction not from tuning. any short tube. unequal length is the same. and easier to install.

longtube is the only type that tunes pulses. and they need to be fooled with for max hp. if you want all hp

longtube with 3" collectors, 3" extensions with 45 degree bend and 4" supertrapps exiting under the doors.

tune the supertrapps for torque. hard to beat.

edit: \/ \/ \/ right. unless your after ever stinkin hp just do what is easy.

IF you are going blown it really won't matter. They only differ by 10-15 hp on the top.
