The price difference between the two doesn't really concern me, I just want to know which will make more power and if either set will cause me any huge problems with access to the plugs, etc.

If you are going to tell me not to get BBK then please by all means tell me what to get....I would prefer it be something that I can pick up at Jeg's since they are local to me.

You can't lose with either one as long as they are BBK. both have good access to the plugs, and the diff. in hp is negligible maybe 2 or 3 tops. Equal lengths look a bit cooler when installed and take about 20 minutes longer to install. If you go equal length, get a good set of plug wires with multi-angle boots.

Ah nice good to know. I think I may just go with the unequals then, they just look like they would be an easier fit and take up a bit less room overall.

That's what I've done with mine. They were an easy install and I've been very happy with them.

With my unequals I had to get new motor mounts and dent them to clear the steering arm. The gaskets that come with them are crap IMO, get some good ones while you are there.

I dont know if they still make them or not, but whatever you do, stay away frm the single flange headers. Thats what i had, took them off and changed heads, and they wouldnt line up for crap!

I hope what you are trying to mean is avoid the individual flange headers, and GO for the 1-piece flange design...

I have BBK shorties. No complaints at all. Don't worry about gaskets, just use some good RTV. The flanges are insanely thick.

Well after going into Jeg's and inspecting the BBK shorties compared to the FRPP Stainless shorties I liked the quality of the Ford product better and bought a set of them. Plan to have em on the vehicle some time this week.

The stainless ones are going to rust on you in a couple years. If you have the cash you might as well get polished ceramic coated. You'd have to go BBK though if you went that route, but they're top notch headers if you are worried about quality.

I have a set of equal one piece flange shorties on my Coupe. the head seal is fine (with copper gaskets) it's the Bassani X pipe to header seal that's driving me batty...
Guy at MU said BBK makes their stuff so that it doesn't fit well with other brands. Whether that's true or not...

I hate to buck the trend, but I have the bbk 1 5/8" ceramic coated longtubes + hpipe. The longtubes weren't too bad to install and they sound amazing.
