It's time for a new set of slicks. I'm trying to decide on ET-Drag's or ET-Street's.

I am currently running a 28x10.5 M/T ET-Drag. The car weighs 3200lbs with me and runs 10.00's at 136mph with a 1.43 60 foot.

Is there much of a performance difference between the two?

Not much difference, just personal preference, and when deciding on which class your running your car in. Good luck, nice times!

I would stay with Et Drags if your class does not require dot's and you don't drive on the street.

drags have a more flexible sidewall and are made of a more aggressive compound. switching to streets your 60' times will fall off.

I've seen mid low 10 second cars go from streets to drags and knock over a tenth out of the 60' once the launch was dialed in. If memory is correct, both cars dropped half a tenth with no changes save for the tire swap.

The ET Streets also have a slightly harder compound of rubber on them (not much, but still)

ET drags flat out hook better...but the streets will last ya a little longer, but youre going fast enough to where changing from slick to better slick will get ya better times so i say stick with the drags

With 10's at 130+ mph use the DRAGS, unless you want to be able to shrug off the police and say "sorry officer but they are D.O.T. legal, see the liddle lines?...." Ha

Thanks for the replies people.
I'm getting a set of ET-Drags mounted tomorrow.
Should be interesting to see if they improve over the (eight year) old ones.
