Ev1 Vs Ev6 Fuel Injectors

Does anyone know the benefits of the EV6 body over the EV1? Its my understanding that you can run the EV6 bodies in a fox as long as I have the connector adapter.

Is the EV6 more accurate and\or efficient than the EV1 body? I read the EV1 bodies get hot during operation while the EV6s stay more cool, but thats the extent of my knowledge.

If anyone has experience using the different injectors?

the discs in the ev6 injectors are supposed to produce a finer spray which makes for a better burn. I've run them and cant really say they were worth swapping out, especially after sourcing connectors.

I am using EV6 #24 injectors and I have not noticed any difference over the EV1 #24 injectors either.

I've also heard better spray pattern.

You'll need the harness adapters to run them. If you have a set in good condition, it might be worth the swap simply to replace aging original injectors.

I have always ran the ev1 style injector, even the motorsport 160lb ev1 never gave me any trouble (until they were too small, lol)

What about the 4-hole vs pintle?

I read that the pintle design sprays the majority of the fuel on the back of the hot intake valve which causes it to atomize quickly. The 4-hole doesn't do that but provides better atomization out of the injector itself?

It seems like they all came with pintle originally, and all the new ones are now 4-hole.

Anyone willing to trade a good working set of blue top pintles for my new set of bosch 4-hole blue tops? They have maybe 30 miles on them.
