I use to love Pinks when they raced for pinks, now it's pretty boring. I watched an episode last night where a final eight racer (black import with small block) rolled the lights (essentially jumped) and was disqualified. The racer's crew, a redneck spectator and the track's "technical director" (couldn't dress himself I bet) started crying like a baby about him being kicked. I damn near threw my remote at my TV.

Then it went to the final two - a red camaro and a white foxbody. It was one win each and the final race the 5.0 suffered "catastrophic failure" for leaky brakes. The camaro had to make a clean pass to win and jumped on Rich's arm drop, not even racing against anyone! He lost $10 000 for jumpin!

So..............they call back the two final Mopars (why them who knows?) and they do one race for the win and 10G's.

It was a waste of time.............

Don't you know, that's the only way Mopars can win?

I love how there is always a timing tree right there, but he prefers to do the arm drop. At least have a nice looking woman do that.

Also I watched all out recently, and they disqualified cars for going too fast. Ummm, isn't "all out", going as fast as you can?

They are disqualified because the go 4/10th over there qualifying runs. He calls it "sandbagging"

^I don't understand what you mean, the arm drop affects the reaction time only.

I went to the Etown one as well, as my brother was racing in it. Very hectic, but they ran the event very well... A LOT of cars, but no down time.

I look at it as a drag racing show on TV. I applaud it for putting drag racing us regular guys can somewhat relate to on TV.

The light could go green and you could stay there for 4 days and then go and you'd still run a xx.xx time. The let the lights go and they go off arm drop. There times are still the same arm drop or not.

and its about getting to the traps first anyway. The times are just to make sure they dont break out. If you snooze on the drop then youre done.
