thanks. Yeah normally my dad and i ride our motorcycles on the weekend, but yesterday i told him i wanted to reap the benefits of all my hard work that ive done to my car this summer and actually drive the damn thing lol. so we took the sunroof out and took a nice 300 mile ride.

Sounds great, is the exhaust all you have done? What are the specs?

yeah, fortunately there isnt too much to see. it is annoying though.

Ive either got a factory freak or a good rebuild. I bought the car with 80k on it, so i dont know if maybe theres an alphabet cam in it or not. Everything north of the intake valves is stock though, save a deleted air silencer. Regardless, engine-wise its just full exhaust. Ive knocked down high 20s, low 30s highway mpg in it and it doesnt lose an inch to my dads '00 GT on the hgihway. I think thats pretty good for a $4000 car with less than $1000 into exhaust work.

The exhaust is a cobbled together, make-do kinda of thing (college student doing what i can with what ive got. Id rather it be kinda ghetto than not do it at all). BBK shorties, UPR catted 2.5" XPipe, SLP LM1s which i prety much fabbed flowtubes to fit flowmaster tailpipes LOL. its an exhaust company orgy under there. I think one reason it might sound better than alot of other 5.0s with LM1s is i have the LMs staggered - since i fabbed it all up myself, i figured i'd be different. It is great though. Reminds me of steve mcqueen in his 390 GT.

thanks for the compliments
