I am in the process of assembling my car after a rebuild project. Currently it has 2 1/4 2 chamber flowmasters on it. I have a set of BBK shorties on the rebuilt block and their X pipe.
Whats the disadvantage to running the car with a 2.5" X pipe into 2.25" catback? I have already spent more than initally planned, but I guess a few hundred more on a bigger catback won't hurt. Thinking about the Dynomax Race Magnum kit from Brothersperformance.
Any opinions on the different pipe diameter and performance?
