last night i couldn't get to sleep so i went out to the garage and it took the carb off my car and cleaned it up etc and put it back on. then checked my fluids. while i was out there i thought about how my exhaust was. right now i have it dumped before the rear Axel. do you think it would look stupid to have it exit right before the rear tires and to have the chrome tips that are cut at a 45* angle? My dad had it done to his 76 and that is what got me thinking about it?

anyway. i have seen this done to one fox mustang a hatch but i cant find the picture? anyone have a picture of what it would look like on a vert? or can anyone photo shop some pipes onto the side of a vert right before the rear tire?

i would run the tips all they way back to the rear bumper but i would have to move my gas line and i don't know hoe much of a paint it would be?

like this?

Wicked illustration! The exhaust will fall back a bit towards the car and over the rear wheels while driving like mentioned above though. Not any more of a pain in the ass than cleaning brake dust from the fronts.

i have this style exhaust on my truck. you have to clean the rims very very very very often or you will get a huge buildup that is a ****** to get off. mine exits about 2 inches forward of the rear tires, and i dont think there is a way to have it exit there and not get crap all over your rims. i would advise against it.

ok then ill do the tail pipes out the rear. ok first off. i need to move my gas line. keep in mind 23 year old gas line, so ill go and replace it. when we took it to have the system put on. our guy. todd was his name said we cant do it. it to close to the gas line. he said," you will have to move it. its to close to where the pipe is. think it would be worth it to move it and get the tail pipes put on?

I think I am going to puke
ryan, keep it dumped, no pipes always gives a vehicle a clean look. put a loud muffler on and keep em guessing what you got in there.
