I have been fighting with my h-pipe for the last few months trying to figure out why it was vibrating and hitting the body. This weekend I wrapped the pipe in header wrap to keep it off the floorboards. I went for a ride and it had the exact same problem.
So I slid under it again and started trying to move the exhaust around. It ends up that the problem is really coming from the hanger that holds the passenger side tailpipe in place. It's not broken but it is loose, so it vibrates everytime I hit that drone speed. I tried taking it to a few shops, but every shop I take it to refuses to work on it after they see the offroad h-pipe
. So I tried to JB weld it in place, but that didn't seem to work either. Short of buying a welder is there anything else I can do to fix the hanger?
