My friend has an 04 GT, and wants to get some mufflers for it. But she doesn't want Flowmasters or something that a lot of other people have. I showed her mustangexhaust.com, but what do you guys like? Are the Flowtech Warlock mufflers any good? What about the Magnaflow magnapacks? Gimme some suggestions.

EDIT: Another thing, how big are your guys' stock exhaust pipes? 2.25" or 2.5"??

stock is 2.25" pipes w/ 3" tips. Tell her to weld in a pair of Borlas (i am assuming that she just wants weld-ins, not a cat-back). eBay usually has some pretty good deals on mufflers alone. I bought the pair of Flowmaster 40s (brand spankin' new ) for only $40

She wanted Borlas, but they're so stinkin expensive. I'll check out eBay for her.

FRPP catback is nice. Classic musclecar rumble, no drone, stainless steel and perfect fitment (made by the company that makes the stock exhaust). Pretty rare as well.

i second the mac flowpaths

they have a nice tone to them & are noticably louder, but not too loud. people will know you are there, but not obnoxiously loud sitting there. but when you hammer it, all hell breaks loose

If she stays with the stock mid pipe I would go with magna flows/packs or SLP's catback. They have a very nice sound even with the stock h.

Well if you don't want flows, go with magnapacks or bassani, and not that bx crap. Mac will be a rust bomb, and I can't believe you asked about Flowtech Warlock mufflers! Sounds like junk to me.

Its a tough decision to pick out that one exhaust you want. Even if it does take two years, she will know that when she gets it, it will be the right one.
