What,....how did you get the 2.5" pipe jammed into that poor cat? Didn't that create a smell of it's own?

Used 24 pound injectors
It only smells at the backend

What would the better move be if these are not fancy stock ones, get a maf that matches or get some stocks? I know I gotta pull one to confirm what they are.

But stock heads, cobra intake, b cam, probably don't need 24's

If you need to replace injectors, I recommend the Bosch upgrades from here.

Did you run your engine running codes yet? Curious to if you got any O2 (rich/lean) codes from that?

I'd find some 19's and put them in, set those aside for later mods.

33 is EGR. IS yours there or was it removed? or unplugged?

Ignore code 96. Usually this is common on mass air swapped 86-88's that didn't have a wire run to the fuel pump relay under the seat. If you want to eliminate this code, just need to run 1 wire from ecu to relay.

44/94 is from not having an smog pump setup

Code 82 is smog pump related, and 85 is charcoal canister

Code 15 is keep alive memory for the ecu. If you run the codes after disconnecting the battery you get this. Clear the codes, run again, and it should be gone. If not, you'll need to do some troubleshooting here

My egr is there. I suspect it may be a vac leak.

Are all those solenoids on the pass side behind the strut tower still there?

Yup, but the vac lines were a mess last I checked. My guess is the problem is there.

Found the injectors. They seem to be right.

Looks like my points of focus will be the egr and charcoal canister

Thats pretty pricey for one injector, what would be wrong with motorcraft brand?

@madmike1157 I'm sure the Cat will get very hot, but doubt it will be hotter than the turbo! You could look for some heat shielding like they put between the floor and cats on the newer mustangs and use that?

like this.

Lots of discussion about it out there. It doesn't appear to do anything other then bump the ignition timing up. Thats something you can do by rotating the distributor. The consensus appears that people are not too impressed with the Hypertech for the Foxbody.

Maybe try removing it and resetting initial timing to 12

About to re pull codes and see what I get.
