FWIW, on the ECU, found this on Google:

http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/threads/is-this-a-mustang-computer.522680/

Claim is that it's a F350 computer. It would also seem that LMR marketed it for a while as an alternative for an A9L/A9P, and that supposedly Cardone was supplying them as remanufactured computers for Mustangs.

All hearsay and advanced Google search skillz, so take with a grain of salt.

Don't stress. Had a guy swear it was a speed density ecm, even through mine is mass air swapped.

Ok, looks like I'll be getting a bbk cated x pipe.

Anyone know if I need to find a smog pump? Mine is currently gone.

I think the aftermarket cats don't use an air pump, someone will confirm this.

I know the pipe is there, but if it's not needed I won't add it

To my knowledge aftermarket cats don't need the air pump. I've done a bunch of performance exhaust systems and never hooked up the air pipes.

New cats are made with different materials.

Just thought I'd bring this to a close. Got to fire up the car today with the new catted exhaust, the exhaust no longer burns my eyes and stinks. Added the charcoal canister as well, so fumes are down significantly.

I was actually considering 2 hi flow cats on my car. Even with perfect AFRs on a standalone ecu it still stinks. Just don't know in my case how much of a restriction it's going to add to the exhaust .

I played he'll with this issue, I tried everything even a 16afr idle it would stink. Added 2 high flow cats and it all went away, even mellowed out the flowmasters.

I'm much happier with the sound now. It sounds like a muscle car now instead of just loud.
