exhaust ?

I currently own a 93' Stang that has a 2.5 exhaust that dumps after the mufflers. I was wondering if a cat-back system from a 2001 Stang would fit w/o major reconstructive surgery? The reason I'm asking is because in the great state of TX, in order to pass the state inspection, your exhaust needs to be routed outside the passanger compartment zone. Another reason is because my buddy is pretty much giving it to me if I can use it.

The mufflers might bolt up, but the tail pipes will never fit.
