EXPLAIN COOLING, a electric fan & pump

Can someone totally explain how the motor cools. The electric fan keeps the motor cool on stop and go and the coolant flows through the motor keeping it cool as well. Can someone explain this alot better between the water pump, fan, etc?

Here is a link that will explain it in great detail. Not a Mustang, but the same concept applies. Once you have the major parts down (thermostat, fan, fan clutch, radiator, water pump) and figure out the way the water flows, you are set.
