Since the Explorer intake only has 2 vac. ports on the back and my stock Mustang intake had 3, I hooked the large one up to the vac. tree on the fire wall where 1 was before, the fuel pressure reg. went to the other vac port on the back of the intake, that left one other that I hooked up to the vac. tree on the firewall where it was previously plugged.........will that work or will it cause any problems?

The original intake had a small round screen under the PCV valve, does that need to be installed on an Explorer or can it be left out.

On the vac tree on the firewall there are 5 ports, the B/R was capped and had nothing hooked up to it, that is where I hooked the 3rd vac. line into, and I used that cap to block off the coolant from the heater pipe.

There are also 2 vac lines that used to to to the hoses connected to the smog pump, I did not install those hoses so how should I cap those vac. lines? Can they just be pulled out without plugging them or do they need some type block-off.
