Extreme Vibration...what is it???

I just got the car running saturday night, and i took it out for the first time today, but i noticed when i am in fifth gear there is a really bad vibration. It doesnt matter what RPM im at, whether im on the gas or not, just as long as im in fifth gear it vibrates. i have solid motor mounts, but do you think that is the problem?

maybe 5th gear is acting up? it has to be something with the tranny and that gear.

check your drive shaft bolts, I've had that happen twice and had the same problem.

Is it only at high speeds or a MPH and higher treshold. Mine would start to vibrate at 70mph and get worse if I started to go faster. Turned out to be axle bearings.

I had the same problem, u-joints and tranny mount cured it.
