Any of you guys running the FAST on your cars or know of anybody that did. My friend with a 96 cobra with a 01 cobra motor swap is running one. Not sure what kinda gains he was seeing from it. I think he paid around $2000 for it and a couple other things and around $1000 install on it. Maybe with tuning with it too. But anyway. Can this be ran on a 99+ 2valve car? I figure if i stay all motor with heads, cams, and full exhaust on the stock lower intake. I could get around 310rwhp and if i added a extrude honed bullit intake I could get in the 320-330 rwhp range. But with the tuning capabilites the fast offers, including real world tuning with the wideband. Is this the missing feature of trying to get the 2valve in the 340-350 rwhp range on motor? What do you guys think about it? Or will it only benefit on a very modded power adder car?

Thanks
Josh

I hear it's a pretty good system, but your gonna need alot more than some good tuning to get 350rwhp out of a NA 2V even if it has headwork, cams and exhaust. To get that much out of a 2V without using Forced Induction, your gonna need a new bottom end and alot more compression, which means you'll be needing more than pump gas. You would break the 300 mark, but 350RWHP and streetable is pushing it.

I'm making decent power (in sig) with the stock pcm reflashed. I don't have anything against a standalone but they're just not needed at those power levels. A good tuner will have the adjustability with the proper software that a DFI has.

What kinda reflash did you get. Since your in the 660rwhp range. I figure your a prime example, you don't have to pay big bucks for a stand alone, to get good gains.

I'm gonna be running the spray pretty soon, 150 shot nx kit. Without heads and cam, I'm just gonna add some exhuast right now.The only person I trust installing the the kit and tuning the kit is Cobra Killer. But I have diablo sport flip chip right now. Whatever computer tuning i get it has to have a 2 stage setting n/a and nitrous.

Funny you mention Cobra Killer as T&J Performance is who built my car and tuned it. He uses EFI Solutions software to tune the cars he builds. Just went on a 1000 mile round trip with it to FFW Orlando and didn't miss a beat. Idles at 750 rpms, drivability is great, runs like a raped ape, etc. No issues at all with it and is currently headed back to T&J for an 8 rib for the new blower and hopefully 725 rwhp. Then I'm done.

As far as your first questions goes, I don't think so. I would pm him in reference to your second question as I do not know.
