F37B-170997, what ford motorsport part is that?

can someone please tell me what that ford motorsport part # is for and what yr mustang it will fit? its a motorsport part and it goes to a mustang its all I know

I dont think it is a FRPP number. All those numbers look like this: M-0000-000. The numbers that start with an "F" are usually a Ford factory number. You can try calling your Ford dealer and see what it is.

I think that's supposed to be F3ZB-170997.

From the looks of it, it's something that was unique to '93 Cobras. I think "B" refers to BODY or chassis. I forget which

I work in a ford parts department. Do you have the whole number. e37b-170997-?? and the 17# is probly a 17c997 or a 17b997. If i know what you are working on I can look it if for you

The F3 is the year the part first went into production.
C=60's, D=70's, E=80's and so on. So it's definitely a 93 part and the "Z" is the code for Mustang. That's all I got.

Ok, lol fellas, Yes I googled through the net and before I even posted I had decifered the meaning of the first 4 characters on that motorsport part #. However, I have called dealerships in the US and sentry ford in medford Ma, told me it is a Canadian ford piece. From the looks of it it looks to be a splitter BRAND NEW in the BOX. I have though it to be an SVT cobra "R" splitter, for an SN95 but I have got not certain way of knowing. pic attached
Anyone out there, pass thwe word lets find out more, tks..

Had to edit the first part# i had in the sujcet of this thread, the ocrrect part # is F37Z-17626-E and the packing slip says it is for (1 valance) so please guys lets see what we come up with
