Fabricating homemade l/c arms?

i doubt it, because by the time you buy just poly bushings, you could almost some of the cheap Ebay ones, which some people really like.

anything is better than stock....if your lcas suck more than the stock ones youre not much worse than a late 70's ford engineer.

I don't know if this is true for both upper and lower or which of those but to strengthen them you just need to add a plate that attaches the two sides together underneath them. IMO it is the bushings that make a lot of the difference and basic lca's with just poly bushings can be had pretty cheap. If you are talking aluminum and adjustable....the price increases dramatically but I doubt you plan on making those ones. I would get your dad to make you some subframe connectors and a strut tower brace before the control arms if it were me and you have not got those already. But it is all up to you and you asked. I am also an Ironworker. When you say anything about Ironworker you should always say Union Ironworker unless he is not in the union....and I must assume he is. Good luck on your project.
