Started takin off the factory mid pipe to put in the UPR O/R X pipe i bought from a fewllow member. Only came to one problem on the final nut on the passneger side. The nut is almost round and the socket just slips on it. I know i may be just screwed(No pun intended) But any tips to get that last nut off so i can hear this beast with the new x pipe? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

3 suggestions:
1) Heat the nut with a torch , then hammer the next size smaller socket on there (14mm?) and try that.

2) Try and refile some flats back on and try next smaller socket

3) Try and double nut the stud out then rescrew it back in.

Oh and lots and lots of PB Blaster...... did I mention the PB Blaster?

Ok thanks guys for the quick replies. Im gonna start this morn and maybe look for a tool like mentioned. The only problem is its in a tight spot a deep socket just wont let me in there. Ill keep ya posted through the day... Thanks again

No Problem!

Hey guys. Got off the stripped nut and the rest of the install was a breeze. I absolutely love it. The UPR O/R and the Flows sound killer. I know a lot of people may not like it but thats what makes us all different right?
What scares me is that the car is my girlfriends, and i think she likes the way it sounds even better than i do. I just wish i could get my truck to sound like that. Now lets go turn some heads... :D
