Faded vert top - ideas?

I bought the '02 vert over the winter and the faded top is bugging me.
Other than being faded to a gray color there is nothing wrong with it. Has anyone successfully brought theirs back to a black color, short of replacing it? If so, how?

Try some of the over the counter stuff at an autoparts store like Mequires or similar.

ive been experimenting with this stuff for a couple days now and i am really liking what i see. i would check the back label to see if its ok to use on convertible tops though. from what i remember its good for most things so itll probably be ok.

ive tried it on all plastic trim and i will go so far as to say it is better than "mother's back to black"
