im wondering what a fair price is to ask for an 85 svo.

basic info. its bone stock, needs some tlc. (paint). runs great, good compression still, no leaks. hood latch is messed up.

other then that, shifts smooth, no issues. i was thinking 2k? my parents are the original owners, it has 80k miles on it.

thanks for the input

If you were closer to me I would say it is too high I need an 85 to complete my collection.

Honestly it is a fair price. (without seeing it)

ill take some pics if i remember tomorrow.

the interior is clean though. it had seat covers for the entire life of it. runs great, has great oil pressure, ect. spools good. shifts smooth as the stock shifter will let it.

has some rust spots on the top of the door trim, i understand those are common places to get it. its a solid car though, could be driven wherever as-is. needs painted pretty bad though.

its not "my" car to sell. its still in my moms name, she is just talking about selling it since it just sits. i came to the realization that im never going to have the time/money to fix it up as i planned. so with that, im just trying to come up with a fair price.

i think we will try 2500 and go from there. ill try kbb also. thanks

i went out and took a couple pics of the car. keep in mind its 4 am and pitch black outside. its sitting under the damn tree's and got hammered with pine needles as you'll see. it gives you an idea though. the tires on it were also fresh about 5 years ago before it just basically sat around.

so, do you think 2500 would be a fair price?

Honestly, if you clean it up...I think it's worth 3500 or so...you better list it on some SVO specific sites if you want to get out of it what it's worth though.
