Ok I need help. I put a firewall adjustable clutch cable on my car last weekend. In the process I knocked my dipstick tube onto the lug sticking out of the fuse box. No I didn't disconnect the battery beforehand ( lesson learned). The car ran great before this. Now at WOT it will throw you through the windshield it falls on its face so bad.
The car is a 2002 mustang 4.6 swap.
The motor is from a 99 gt. BBK throttle body and CAI. EGR delete long tube headers O/R xpipe slp cat back. SCT tuner. Had the 93 octane tune in it but reverted back to stock when this started happening.
Fuel pump and filter are new. Cleaned maf sensor yesterday. Swapped tps with the one off my wife's car this morning.
In neutral the car operates normally.
I'm starting to think I fried the pcm.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pull codes and post the [exact] response from the reader.

Ok... Have you already [searched] for brunt wire?

Look toward the O2 sensors and the EVAP solenoid (which you may not still have).

Track down the grounds for these. Maybe you'll get lucky and it's a single wire common ground that was burned.

Short of burned wiring, you may be looking at a burnt trace inside of the EEC. IN that case, the EEC needs to be sent in for test/repair.

I don't even have the rear o2 sensors in. And yes you are correct evap solenoid is gone. I was running without the front o2 sensors for a minute then this happened. I put them in thinking it was lean. But no luck

Ok. So you mean that you put them in after that page of codes you showed?

If so, what does a new scan say? If not, what I said above would still apply.

Another thought:

Do you know what codes you had (if any) prior to the incident?

I have to wonder why the codes for the EGR and EVAP are not suppressed with/by the SCT tuner.

I have no option to suppress the egr with the tuner.
No the front o2 sensors have been in since Wednesday those codes are the most recent.

Ok. I'm still back at my last suggestion then. Somebody else might have other ideas.

Had the computer checked. All is good.
Took my fuel filter off today. The fuel was a rusty orange. Put a new filter on. Put the car through its paces. It ran very good for 3/4 of the test drive. Started doing the same thing.
New fuel tank is ordered along with a filler neck pump and filter.
