This is the one I used for my taurus fan. Thanks to Mustang5L5 for giving me the link and helping me wire it up. You basically have to use this controller to activate an 85 amp relay. The probe threads into the water outlet, at the top where most have a plug. You can use this for a contour fan setup but you will need to wire up two relays, and you will basically have them both come on full blast at a certain temperature, seems like over kill to me.

This is what i found..im going to use a taurus fan ..my question is is the relay that comes with this big enough or do i need a bigger relay...im confused ...40/60 amp relay with air conditioning override circuit. Includes 30 amp fuse. Fan amperage is critical with this unit, most dual fans with large amperage draws will require the use of two controllers.

When these fans are running I believe they only pull something like 25amps. The problem is they spike on start up to like 85 amps. You can try and use the relay that comes in they kit, worst thing that'll happen is it'll blow and you'll need to change it, but, it is not rated high enough for the fan. Best bet is finding a bosch 85amp relay, and having the controller turn the relay on. The relay is a little difficult to find, I had trouble finding one. I wish I saved the site I got mine from but I didnt. There usually like 30 bucks.

I just received mine a couple days ago and ordered it around the 9th of Feb. so it took about 3 weeks. Looks like an awesome product.....

Now its time to head to the Pull a Part for a fan.......
