Soaring, I have to agree, that was very immature to remove all of the info you posted. And original members? You registered here a year and 8 months before I did, so who are the original members you speak of, when you've been here over 4 years? I've gone out of my way to try to get things to calm down between yourself and other members, because I never like seeing a member being run off of a site for any reason. There are terms of service to this site and no one is immune to them, staff included. And for what it's worth, I gave an infraction to one of the "original members" that you speak of, so where exactly is the problem again when others have been subject to the same rules as you? You received one at the same time, and it's the only one you have that's current against your account, so it's very much untrue that anyone is receiving any favortism. There was no favortism when Jenns01TA stepped in, in another thread, and she also told you the situation was being watched and discussed in our staff forum.
I hate bringing things like this out in the public, but you've been made very much aware of what's going on, as well as what's being done to resolve the situation. She (Jenns01TA) also pointed out that, much like myself, we walked into this one blindly because the moderator of this forum was out of town, so we had to fill any holes in the moderating until he could return, so we were unfamiliar with anything going on here, and we needed to analyze both sides. I still can not say who is right or wrong, but your actions, and publicly calling out the staff of this forum on more than one occasion lead me to believe that your side of the story may not be the whole truth. If you so choose to stop posting here because you can't be patient and let the staff work on the issue at hand, that's your choice. Keep in mind that we (the SN staff) are unpaid members of this site, and that we can't get together all at the same time to come to a conclusion as to what action, if any is necessary. That is why we have a staff only forum, and we're having a current discussion about this very issue, as well as others that arise on the site on a daily basis. You don't take priority on this site just because you dig yourself into a hole and expect us to bail you out. We have jobs and this tends to come secondary to that, so things take time. If you choose to continue to post on StangNet, I suggest you start following the rules that have been set by Mike Raburn, as the other members do, and I can assue you that your problems will work themselves out before the staff needs to intervene.
Wow... That was truely interesting lol. I guess there really is one in every bunch.
Ok, I am new here so I do not know what that was about and to be honest don't care!
I would also like to say thank you to everyone on here for alot of great information. I reacently purchased a 66 mustang with an i6... all original with 63000 miles on it that has been sitting for the past thirty years covered in a garage. Not sure if this is the right place for all that so I will get right to the point. How about horsepower vs. unibody..... I am making the i6 to v8 conversion and there is a ton of options as far as crate motors... I would like to keep it as stock as I can.... so no welding will be done... How much horse power can a 66 mustang unibody take!!!
