Fast idle

I start my car and it will idle around 1100rpms thats ok. The thing is when i go down the road and come to a stop it will idle 2500+rpms[its a five spd]Now if i turn the car off when driving down the road and restart it the car idles fine. Any body have the problem? If so please help.

Theres time when i can hear alittle miss. I ran it friday with 18 psi and ran
60'=2.499
330=6.475
1/8=9.72
mph=75.87
1000=12.493
1/4=14.80
mph=97.91
I know this is off topic but it was ran on 225-60-15s.It pulls hard and when idles fine it is fine. I just thought maybe somebody had the same thing happened to them.Thanks

hu thats wierd the only time I had a problem like that was when the car was loading up due to the egr. If it runs fine I wouldnt worry

Mine has done that once of twice in the past. It's so rare that I don't worry about it.

Check out the idle controller, I can't remember what it's called (IAC?).
